This home was designed in collaboration with McMahon Architects & Studio in San Francisco. The floor plan was designed to reflect a classical layout while using contemporary design details throughout. The open space plan serves to integrate the outside views into it's interior.
The design was kept clean and unfussy. In this home, the motto “less is more” perfectly describes the absence of heavy molding that one would typically see in a traditional home. The living room has a dramatic antique style fireplace juxtaposed against the contemporary concrete floors.
Open to the dining and living room the kitchen highlights the copper hood by keeping the entire wall free from cabinets. All of the cabinetry and storage are set on the room sides as well as the storage room behind the stove.
A massive walk-in shower sits at the end of a light filled master bath. The clean line concept is kept consistent throughout even in the fixtures selected like this freestanding tub.
